I'm a freelance filmmaker, Director of Photography, drone pilot, photographer and general wildlife nut based in Bristol, England.
Filming landmark wildlife films for National Geographic and the BBC, including “Asia” (2024) narrated by the legendary Sir David Attenborough, and “Secrets of the Elephants” (2022), narrated by Natalie Portman, I’ve also worked on smaller scale projects for conservation charities and to promote private companies and businesses.
My footage has been used by GoPro in advertising campaigns, including the release of their 2020 flagship camera: the Hero 9.
My photos have been published in several international wildlife magazines, books and newspapers such as the New York Times and Smithsonian Magazine.
Land-based photography is one thing, but getting beneath the waves to capture images and video of other-wordly creatures that inhabit the marine environment is hard to beat. As a qualified PADI Divemaster and Digital Underwater Photography Instructor I really can’t get enough of it!
Drones are a relatively recent tool for the photographer, but add a completely new perspective to things. As a CAA certified commercial drone operator I find aerial photography and filming has become a fantastic addition to my projects.
I’m always on the lookout for new projects to get stuck into, so please get in touch!
Thanks for visiting!
